Managing Broker
A Higher Qualification Standard
In the state of Washington, a real estate managing broker must meet higher requirements for real estate education and full time real estate experience, and must pass a more expansive licensing examination than other real estate brokers.
A Wider Range of Responsibilities and Resources
A real estate managing broker may manage and supervise other real estate brokers, expanding the managing broker's scope of means and resources available to best serve clients' best interests, even beyond the managing broker's own additional education and experience required to become licensed as a managing broker. For example, a real estate managing broker may form and manage a team of specialists that includes other brokers and managing brokers, or may manage a brokerage office.
